Wood awarded new contracts by Equinor

UK-headquartered Wood has been awarded two new contracts by Equinor.

Wood will deliver front-end engineering design services for modifications to the Grane offshore facility, the scope including topside modifications to prepare for the subsea tie-back from the Grane Area Northern Development project. The contract includes an option for the engineering, procurement, construction and installation phase.

Additionally, Wood was awarded a second contract for the Kollsnes MEG Upgrade where it will perform the front-end engineering design for modifications to the Kollsnes gas processing plant in Øygarden.

Dave Stewart, CEO of Wood’s Asset Solutions business in Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia, commented: “Wood has developed a successful long-term global relationship with Equinor, and these new contracts continue our work on installations in their portfolio.”

The Grane contract is scheduled for completion by the end of 2019 and the Kollsnes contract by mid-winter 2020.
