Wood secures offshore engineering contract from Wintershall

UK-based offshore engineering specialist Wood has secured a new contract from Wintershall to provide engineering and construction services to the Brage offshore platform located west of Bergen, Norway.

The scope of the contract includes engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning (EPCIC) associated with well hook-up on the facility.

“This new call off assignment strengthens our relationship with an important customer in Norway and demonstrates Wintershall’s confidence in our offshore modifications capabilities. Our successful track record of delivering well hook-ups on assets across the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS) combined with the extensive EPCIC experience of our teams and ability to provide robust safety and assurance, positions us ideally to deliver this contract,” said Dave Stewart, CEO of Wood’s Asset Solutions business in Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia.
