Hanoi: Construction of Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical Complex started in Nghi Son Economic Zone in Thanh Hoa province yesterday with prime minister Nguyen Tan Dung in attendance for the groundbreaking.
The 400 hs, $9bn facility wull be able to handle 10m tonnes of oil a year.
The complex also includes a 2,400MW thermal power, a cement plant and links to deepwater ports. [24/10/13]
