World Marine Offshore takes over KEM Offshore

Denmark’s offshore vessel operator World Marine Offshore (WMO) has taken over compatriot offshore wind vessel owner KEM Offshore through acquiring all vessels and activities from the company.

WMO Support, a newly formed entity within the World Marine Offshore Group, will acquire KEM’s fleet of eight fast crew transfer vessels and all existing contracts and operations will be transferred with the vessels.

“We have over the years followed the development of KEM Offshore and now finally agreed with the Owners to acquire all the vessels and activities. We will during the next period implement the vessels and activities under WMO management and look forward to working with the new clients,” said World Marine Offshore’s CEO Lars Zøhner.

World Marine Offshore operates a fleet of 18 crew transfer vessels and 8 DP2 vessels.
