Wuhan Maritime Court will hold an auction for 2006-built supramax bulk carrier  Polestar via online platform Taobao on February 26.

The vessel, owned by Greek company Tortuga Navigation, was detained by the court at the request of the ship’s crew due to a salary payment dispute.

The starting auction price for the vessel is RMB49.62m ($7.76m).

The 53,500 dwt vessel is the only vessel in the Greek company’s fleet.
