Yangzijiang wins $2bn of semi-sub orders
Singapore: Korean shipbuilding website Asiasis has reported that Singaporean drilling company Primepoint has contracted Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding, a subsidiary of Yangzijiang Shipbuilding, to build two semi-submersible drilling platforms. Primepoint has signed for two plus two options of Moss CS50 platforms in a deal worth around $2bn, including the options.
The news is a big development for Singapore-listed Yangzijiang which has aggressively been positioning its new raft of offshore offerings. [24/01/14]
