Yemen pipeline attacked

Doha: Al-Qaeda-linked militants have blown up an oil pipeline in Yemen's southeastern province of Shabwa, the latest in a long series of attacks on the nation’s oil and gas infrastructure.

The attack caused an oil leak in the pipeline, which transports 10,000 barrels of oil a day to Yemen's Belhaf export terminal in the Gulf of Aden.  [05/11/13]
