Yuhua Energy acquires secondhand chemical tanker

Hong Kong-listed Yuhua Energy has entered into an agreement with Great Lakes Shipping Maritime for the acquisition of a chemical tanker for $5.8m.

The 1997-built tanker Zhu Min Victoria will be delivered to Yuahua Energy before December 1.

Yuhua Energy said it has been monitoring and constantly reviewing the current market conditions of shipping and is ready to establish the group’s own fleet when necessary and newly acquired vessel will provide transportation services for the group to carry out international businesses.
