Zhejiang Fuxing Shipping to auction off elderly bulker

Chinese bulker owner Zhejiang Fuxing Shipping will sell the 40,000dwt handymax bulker  Fu Xing 9 via auction at Zhejiang Property & Stock Exchange on December 29.

The starting price for the 1984-built vessel is RMB13m ($1.96m).

Zhejiang Fuxing Shipping is a joint venture between Zhejiang Shipping Group and Zhejiang Energy Group and it mainly transports coal in the domestic coastal and river markets.

The company currently operates a bulker fleet of 10 vessels with an average age of 24 years.
