Zhengli Ocean Engineering orders semi-submersible vessel at Huangpu Wenchong

Fujian-based Zhengli Ocean Engineering has signed a shipbuilding contract with CSSC-affiliated Huangpu Wenchong Shipbuilding for the construction of a semi-submersible engineering vessel.

The vessel will be specially used for installation works at offshore wind farms upon delivery in 2018. The contract price was not revealed.

Zhengli Ocean Engineering mainly provides offshore engineering, wreck removal and salvage services. It currently has a fleet of 8 engineering vessels and various subsea assets.
