Zhonggu Shipping orders four containerships at Jinling Shipyard

Chinese domestic container shipping operator Zhonggu Shipping has signed shipbuilding contracts with CSC Sinotrans-affiliated Jinling Shipyard for the construction of four 2,500teu containerships.

Deliveries will start from March 2018.

Zhonggu Shipping also placed orders for four 2,500teu containerships, with two options, at Shanghai Shipyard in May.

Zhonggu Shipping completed volumes of 8.6m teu in 2015, accounting for 15% of the domestic container shipping market in China.
