Zhonghui Shipping orders bulker at Wuhu Shipyard

Anhui-based Zhonghui Shipping has signed a shipbuilding contract with Wuhu Shipyard for the construction of one 61,000 dwt bulk carrier plus an option to construct one more.

The vessel delivery is scheduled in 2019. Other contract details were not disclosed.

Zhonghui Shipping mainly operates domestic bulk shipping business, the company currently operates 9 ocean bulkers and 19 river bulkers. It also runs a shipping joint venture Maanshan Zhonglian Shipping with Maanshan Iron & Steel.
