Zim charters panamax from Diana Containerships

Athens: Israel’s Zim Integrated Shipping Services has timechartered a panamax boxship from Diana Containerships for 10 to 12 months.

The Pamina (5,042 teu, built 2005), previously known as Santa Pamina (pictured), has been chartered at a gross rate of $15,325 per day, minus 4% commission paid to third parties.

The rate shows some progress on the vessel’s previous contract, which ended on April 30.

Shipping Corporation of India (SCI) took the vessel on a six-month timecharter in November 2014 at a rate of $9,500 per day.
