Dry bulk market outlook

Reception at Fullerton’s Post Bar

Splash’s Maritime CEO Forum is returning to Singapore in 2022, marking the 5th edition of the event.

The forum is designed as the anti-shipping conference, in that it will be a half-day with panels packed full of shipowner and shipmanager CEOs. No presentations, no slides, no selling, just the top people in the industry discussing pressing issues.

Maritime CEO Forum will be limited in size to ensure all attendees can make the most of the day, network and then attendees can relax at the afterparty at the Fullerton’s Post Bar which will include additional invited guests.

12:00pm: Pre-forum tech workshop
Sponsored by Inmarsat

1:00pm: Registration and lunch

2:00pm: Decarbonisation debate
Shipping’s greatest challenge. Much hot air has been wasted at countless green shipping events. The Maritime CEO Forum aims to give delegates a straight up assessment of where the industry is today on its path to decarbonisation and the likely winners in the future ship debate.

2:50pm: Tanker market outlook
Finally after many false dawns the tanker sector is set fare in Q3. The Maritime CEO Forum will assess how high and for how long today’s rally could last, while also giving delegates a better understanding of long term fundamentals.

3:40pm: Coffee break

4:10pm: Managing ships in the 2020s
How should shipmanagers position themselves as service providers in the 2020s? A sector that is growing fast needs to be listening carefully to what its clients want – the Maritime CEO Forum serves as the perfect sounding board to assess how managers must transform to stay relevant.

5:00pm: Dry bulk market outlook
Listless, without direction – dry bulk has entered a hard to fathom phase. The Maritime CEO Forum will attempt to identify some genuine market guidance to the dry bulk sector, giving attendees an idea of where rates are headed in the coming months, and the longer term big picture, looking at supply and demand fundamentals with a high calibre panel.

5:50pm: Cocktail reception at Post Bar
Come along to one of Singapore’s most famous bars for drinks and networking at the Fullerton.
Sponsored by Ocean Technologies Group.
