Fujian Guohang Ocean Shipping boosts bulker orderbook with ultramax brace

Chinese bulker owner and operator Fujian Guohang Ocean Shipping is expanding its fleet with ultramax newbuilds added to the orderbook.

The Beijing Stock Exchange-listed company has returned to Jiangsu Haitong Offshore Engineering Equipment for two 63,500 dwt ships, building on the panamax bulker series it has booked for construction at the yard.

Fujian Guohang Ocean Shipping’s fleet currently stands at eight owned bulkers on VesselsValue and nine newbuilding projects.

Late last year, the company contracted up to 10 methanol-ready kamsarmaxes at Wuhu Shipyard, with four firm units delivering in 2026.

Delivery dates for the latest newbuilds costing $32.8m each, have not been disclosed.
