Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Bunker Trader to join our client's team in London. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the global trading operations, engaging with international clients and suppliers to facilitate the efficient and profitable supply of marine fuels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and industry stakeholders.
• Source, negotiate, and secure bunker fuel deals while managing risk effectively.
• Analyse market trends and provide insight into market developments to maximise trading opportunities.
• Stay up to date with industry regulations and ensure compliance in all trading activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise trading strategies and ensure smooth logistics operations.
• Monitor market and pricing trends to provide clients with accurate and timely information.
• Prepare and maintain reports on trading activities and market analysis.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Bunker Trader, with a track record of successful trading in marine fuels.
• Strong network of industry contacts and relationships is a must. Customer traders will have a large advantage.
• In-depth knowledge of the bunker fuel market, pricing, and industry regulations.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Analytical and strategic thinking to make informed trading decisions.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic trading environment.
• Results-oriented and a self-driven individual.
