Bunker Trader

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute back-to-back bunker trading transactions, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of fuel products to our clients.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, buyers, and brokers to facilitate smooth trading operations.
• Analyse market trends, pricing fluctuations, and regulatory changes to inform trading strategies and mitigate risks.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with counterparties, ensuring favourable terms and conditions for the company.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams such as operations, logistics, and finance to optimise trading processes and maximize profitability.
• Stay updated on industry developments, competitor activities, and geopolitical factors affecting the bunker market.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 1-2 years experience in back-to-back bunker trading, with a proven track record of success in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of the marine fuel market, including knowledge of fuel specifications, quality standards, and industry regulations.
• Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and make informed trading decisions.
• Fluency in English as well as Chinese (Mandarin) or Korean.
• Located in or willing to relocate to Singapore.
