Description
We are seeking a dedicated Claims Executive to join our team in London. This role involves providing claims-handling services and advice to our members. You will be part of a specialised team supporting our global membership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle assigned claims in accordance with procedures and provide claims-related advice.
- Foster relationships with existing members and promote loss prevention activities.
- Maintain accurate electronic filing of all correspondence related to claims.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of company procedures and systems.
- Produce articles for company publications.
- Support underwriting objectives.
- Participate in training and develop relevant skills.
- Perform other duties as required.
Person Specification:
- LLB or LLM degree in Maritime Law.
- Experience in handling personal injury matters in a related field such as an insurer or law firm.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong written skills.
- Highly organized and able to prioritise workload.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a small team.
