Commercial Coordinator

We are seeking a Commercial Coordinator who will coordinate bids for cargo opportunities, including commercial and military cargoes.  Ideally, you'll have experience with breakbulk and project cargoes.  The role requires innovative problem-solving, matching fleet schedules with transportation bids, and constant communication with the Operations team.

Key Responsibilities for the Commercial Coordinator:

• Identify and pursue chartering and freight opportunities
• Perform voyage calculations and pricing for both near-term and long-term project cargoes.
• Package intermodal bids
• Administer the quoting system, ensuring team visibility and timely customer communications.
• Monitor projects and track Commercial and US Military Cargo Flows

• Bachelor's Degree - maritime-related field preferred
• Three+ years of similar experience with cargo coordination
• Experience with freight forwarding operations may be a plus
• Knowledge of contracts and charter parties and breakbulk cargoes
