Direct Search Global is working with one of the World’s fastest growing shipbuilder and engine manufacturer to fill the role of Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer in their Singapore office. Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide after-sales service work for various equipment including ballast water, desulfurization, denitrification, and FGSS equipment.
  • Manage the troubleshooting and resolution process for technical issues related to E&I equipment.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient and effective servicing of equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans to optimize the performance and longevity of equipment.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to outsourced teams and engineers, fostering their growth and ensuring quality service delivery.
  • Act as a liaison between clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to address service-related concerns and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices to continuously improve service quality and efficiency.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related field.
  • Proven experience and knowledge in ballast water treatment, desulfurization, denitrification, and FGSS systems.
  • Prior experience in programmable logic controller (PLC) is mandatory
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to effectively resolve technical issues.
  • Experience in team management and cultivating a collaborative work environment.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to adapt to changing environments and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and standards related to E&I equipment servicing.
  • The incumbent must be able to liaise with clients from China.
