IT Manager - Long Island

Job Overview:

The IT Manager will be responsible for overseeing the company's technology infrastructure and ensuring the smooth operation of all IT systems. This role will manage the IT team and work closely with other departments to ensure that technology solutions meet the needs of the company. This is a hands on position that will require you to manage your own projects while managing the team.

The Role:

•         Manage the IT team and delegate tasks as necessary
•         Develop and implement IT policies and procedures
•         Ensure the security and integrity of the company's data and systems
•         Manage and maintain the company's servers, network, and other IT infrastructure
•         Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues for employees
•         Research and recommend new technologies to improve efficiency and productivity
•         Manage relationships with third-party IT vendors and service providers
•         Monitor and report on IT budget and expenses
•         Provide training and support to employees on the use of IT systems and software

The Person:

•         Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
•         Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management
•         Strong technical knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure
•        Experience managing a team of IT professionals
•         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•         Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
•         Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications:

•         IT certifications such as CompTIA, CCNA, or MCSE
•         Experience in project management
•         Knowledge of cloud computing technologies
