Marine Manager (Chemical Tankers)

We are in search of a highly proficient and seasoned Marine Manager to oversee and control all aspects of marine operations concerning chemical vessels. In the role of Marine Manager, you will lead a team of Marine Superintendents, emphasizing efficiency, safety, and adherence to regulations.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Inspire and guide the Marine Operations Team, cultivating a culture of excellence and safety.

• Take charge of planning and executing marine activities meticulously, ensuring compliance with regulations.

• Guarantee strict adherence to International Maritime Laws and regulations, including the ISM Code and ISPS Code.

• Apply your expertise in chemical tanker operations to enhance performance and safety protocols.

• Skillfully identify, evaluate, and manage risks, implementing robust mitigation strategies and ensuring compliance with insurance requirements.

• Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to improve operational efficiency and uphold industry-leading standards.

Key Qualifications:

• Hold the rank of Master Mariner with a minimum of 5 years of experience leading a team of Marine Superintendents.

• Demonstrate proven experience in handling and sailing on Chemical Tankers, showcasing a profound understanding of their unique operational requirements.

• Possess comprehensive knowledge of maritime operations, regulations, and industry standards.

• Exhibit proficiency in International Maritime Laws and regulations, including the ISM Code and ISPS code.

• Display a strong aptitude for identifying and managing risks, with a focus on implementing effective risk mitigation strategies.
