We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Marine Manager to oversee and manage all facets of marine operations for chemical vessels. As a Marine Manager, you will lead a team of Marine Superintendents, driving efficiency, safety, and compliance across the board.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and inspire the Marine Operations Team, fostering a culture of excellence and safety.
• Take the helm in planning and executing marine activities with precision and adherence to regulations.
• Ensure thorough compliance with International Maritime Laws and regulations, including the ISM Code and ISPS Code
• Utilise your expertise in chemical tanker operations to optimise performance and safety protocols.
• Expertly identify, assess, and manage risks, implementing robust mitigation strategies and ensuring compliance with insurance requirements
• Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency and uphold industry-leading standards.

Key Requirements:

• Master Mariner with a minimum of 5 years of experience leading a Team of Marine Superintendents
• Proven experience handling and sailing on Chemical Tankers demonstrating a deep understanding of their unique operational requirements.
• Comprehensive knowledge of maritime operations, regulations, and industry standards
• Proficiency in International Maritime Laws and regulations, including ISM Code and ISPS code.
• Strong aptitude in risk identification and management, with a focus on implementing effective risk mitigation strategies.
• Preference for candidates with a track record of success in renowned companies within the maritime industry
