Our client is seeking a highly motivated maritime professional with practical experience in Dynamic Positioning systems to join their team.

As a Marine Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and compliance of our marine operations. If you’re passionate about maritime risk management and operational excellence, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct vetting and clearance activities for Upstream vessel types and platforms.
  • Evaluate vessel and terminal operator audit/incident reports to ensure compliance with relevant standards and suitability for client affiliate services.
  • Perform risk assessments for third-party marine assets, providing recommendations to mitigate risks.
  • Ensure HSSE performance for time-chartered vessels, including Marine Quality Assurance and D&A declarations.
  • Support new build and charter tonnage inspections, DP trials, FMEA and factory acceptance tests.
  • Assist in maintaining marine assurance policies and procedures.
  • Lead OVMSA verification audits for vessel operators.
  • Provide feedback to enhance audit and inspection best practices.
  • Contribute to defining the scope of shipping and marine activities.
  • Offer early marine advice to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
  • Maintain accurate data within SharePoint/OneDrive systems.
  • Provide vetting and clearance support to Upstream Business units.
  • Drive continuous improvement of systems and processes.
  • Produce management stewardship reports.

Qualifications:

  • You will have experience sailing as a DPO on Offshore vessels.
  • Strong understanding of industry standards and compliance, especially in Dynamic Positioning.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
