Naval Architect

A global maritime organisation is seeking an experienced Naval Architect to join their team in Mumbai where you'll play a vital role in delivering top-notch marine technical support.

In this position, you'll ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities include evaluating ship designs, supporting new build programs, conducting structural assessments, and collaborating with regulatory bodies. Provide necessary support to corporations on the sustainability front, including but not limited to EEXI, CII, CCS etc which may change from time to time.

• Degree in Naval Architecture.
• Experience in design and plan reviews of new build main fleet vessels, preferably tankers.
• Proficiency in new builds oversight and supervision of new build main fleet vessels, preferably tankers.
• Experience in reviewing Shipbuilding contracts, Specifications, plan approvals, monthly progress reports, sea trials, shipyard audits, reports preparation etc as applicable.
• Possess suitable technical knowledge of the latest sustainability efforts in the Marine industry.
