Description
We have partnered with a prominent North East UK Port to deliver the search for a Cargo Operations Supervisor.
This is a hands on safety responsible role, where you will supervise the loading and discharging of a broad variety of ships/cargos.
Having planned the lift and written the method statement, you will give instructions to the team, then supervise the operation.
This is a Team Leader position where you will also have some first line HR responsibility for a small team.
We are encouraging applications from experienced Deck Officers with an interest in working ashore, who are confident communicators.
Those with dry bulk or container experience are especially encouraged!
Applicants need to have the long-term right to live and work in the UK, and live in or be happy to relocate to the North East.
