Project Manager – Newbuilding

A newly established position tasked with overseeing the current new build projects and paving the way for future new builds. This position will contribute to the company’s ship-building excellence and innovation.

As Project Manager - Newbuilding, you will be at the forefront of steering the acquisition of modern vessels, leveraging thorough research and design analysis to ensure the highest standards. Your impact will extend to shaping success by adeptly coordinating internal requirements, formulating precise tender specifications, and wielding influence in critical shipyard decisions. Additionally, you will take charge of overseeing the construction of vessels abroad, maintaining a commitment to excellence and environmental compliance. Your leadership will extend further into spearheading sustainability initiatives and implementing impactful green strategies that align with the company's vision for a greener future.

• Naval Architectural, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background with proven experience in supervising new building projects for commercial ships - ideally dry cargo ships.
• Great interpersonal skills and proven leadership experience in supervising site teams.
• Exposed to and familiar with implementing green solutions to new build designs.
