Faststream is working with a global marine technology company that provides bridge navigation systems to the commercial, deepsea, fishing, and yacht markets. We are seeking a dynamic and personable Sales Coordinator to join the team.

This is a crucial role within our organization, providing essential support to both our customers and the sales team. Your efforts will help us consistently deliver our high-quality products and services, ensuring we exceed customer expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for sales enquiries from customers across all sales channels
  • Support the Sales Coordinator and Sales Managers in various tasks as needed
  • Assist in stock forecasting by monitoring outstanding quotes and understanding ongoing sales activities
  • Liaise with other internal departments to ensure a smooth sales process from order to delivery
  • Communicate any changes in equipment specifications, delivery dates, or other alterations to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Participate in trade shows as a member of the sales team
  • Contribute to the development of the company's communication and marketing functions, enhancing performance across multiple channels

Key Skills:

  • Numeracy and the ability to work accurately with figures
  • Literacy and confidence in written correspondence
  • Background in business administration with strong organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel
  • Interpersonal skills to build and develop relationships with customers across all business channels
  • Self-motivation and a willingness to continually learn new skills

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience using internet-based stock systems
  • Knowledge of the marine industry
  • Experience with ERP packages
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including data manipulation, pivot tables, and conditional formatting

Qualifications:

  • 5 GCSEs at A-C, including English and Maths
  • A business or communications qualification at diploma level or higher is advantageous
