Senior Dry Docking Superintendent

On behalf of one of our major ship owning clients, who is soon to be entering a very intense dry docking season, we are in search of a Senior Dry Docking Superintendent who will be pivotal in the successful delivery of multiple complex projects for a minimum 12 month contract.

The Senior Dry Docking Superintendent will oversee all aspects of dry docking operations and green technology installations. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and a commitment to environmental sustainability. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in dry docking procedures, a strong understanding of green technology, and have executed such project within Chinese shipyards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise dry docking operations, ensuring all activities are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
• Manage the installation of green technologies.
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and external contractors, to ensure seamless project execution.
• Conduct inspections and assessments of vessels.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members and other stakeholders.
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation related to dry docking activities.

We are looking for a degree-qualified engineer or a former sea-going engineer with exceptional dry docking execution experience, ideally with large complex projects.
