Senior Manager/AGM, Commercial

Faststream Recruitment has partnered with a Shipyard to identify, attract and engage an experienced Commercial Manager.

Our client provides offshore support vessels and integrated services to the oil and gas industry.

• Take charge of executing commercial strategies to meet revenue and margin targets for ship repairs and conversions.
• Handle enquiries from customers and manage competitive quotations/tariffs for the Singapore yard.
• Supervise team of estimators and commercial invoicing officers to ensure they discharge duties in accurate and timely manner.
• Follow up the tenders with customers and agents and negotiate the Contracts/Projects.
• Handle client management at the Singapore yard, as and when required and submit reports.
• Work with the Yard Operations team to maintain an optimal mix of vessel types/scopes of work to maximise yard utilisation.
• Ensure internal stakeholders adhere to and understand contractual obligations, and also determine when processes violate regulations.
• To be able to assess all risks and make recommendations based on analysis of factors affecting a business situation.
• Provide functional and management support in the management of Change, including negotiation and settlement of Change/Variation Orders with the clients.
