Faststream Recruitment represents a growing broking house in the heart of Hamburg who have seen great results over the past 10 years and looking to expand further.

Approximately 25 years ago, a partnership established a privately owned company involved in ship owning, ship management, and ship brokering. Based in Werkendam, The Netherlands, the company manages its own short sea fleet globally. Sale and purchase activities are handled by a brokerage firm based in Hamburg, Germany.

Responsibilities:

• Assist senior brokers in conducting market research and analysis.
• Support in negotiating and closing sale and purchase deals for vessels.
• Liaise with clients and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
• Handle administrative tasks related to brokerage activities.
• Stay updated on industry trends and market developments.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Business, or a related field.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Proficiency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
• Prior experience in shipping or brokerage is mandatory.
