Supply Bunker Trader

Experienced in bunker trading? We are looking for a Supply Bunker Trader. You will play a pivotal role in managing supply hedging strategies, paper trading, and swaps in the organisation.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement supply hedging strategies to mitigate risks associated with bunker fuel procurement and market volatility.
• Execute bunker fuel trades, including physical supply, derivatives, and paper trading.
• Monitor market trends, analyse market data, and stay updated with industry news to make informed trading decisions.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, traders, brokers, and other market participants to ensure a reliable supply chain and access to competitive pricing.
• Manage the execution and administration of bunker fuel swaps, contracts, and other derivatives, including monitoring settlements, reconciling positions, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience as a bunker trader, preferably with a focus on supply hedging, paper trading, and swaps.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in bunker fuel markets, industry dynamics, and trading strategies.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
• Ability to work under pressure, make quick decisions, and adapt to changing market conditions.
