Technical Purchaser – Aberdeen/London

An established offshore shipping company is looking for a Technical Purchaser to join their team in either Aberdeen or London. This is a fantastic opportunity to further your career with a market-leading organization in the offshore industry.

In this varied and challenging role, you will be responsible for the safe, cost-effective procurement of spare parts, stores, provisions and services for their offshore fleet. Working closely with fleet crews and managers, you will handle all technical purchasing and coordinate spare parts deliveries across the globe.

They are looking for someone who is passionate about shipping, with strong technical interest and ability to work independently in a responsible, diligent manner. Previous purchasing experience in maritime or offshore would be advantageous. Proficiency in specialized shipping software is also preferred.
