Description
Are you a seasoned marine engineer looking for your first career break ashore? An established ship owner is expanding its team in Manila and is having openings for Technical Superintendent. The company welcomes applications from experienced Technical Superintendent, as well as current Chief Engineer looking for their first position ashore.
You will carry out Technical Superintendent duties for the dry cargo ships assigned to you. You are expected to travel when required for vessel visits. Ensuring vessels are operating in compliance to current maritime regulations and company requirements. Preparing vessels for Rightship inspections and relevant decarbonization requirements.
Key Requirements:
- Ex-Chief Engineer and at least 1 year of shore experience in the capacity of a Technical Superintendent.
- Experienced with geared bulk carriers.
- Updated with current maritime technologies, regulations, ratings, e.g. EEXI & CII, Rightship
- Holds valid rights to live and work in the Philippines.
