Reporting directly to the Chief of Projects you will be at the forefront of Höegh LNG's expansion plans as the Terminal Operations Development Manager, overseeing the development of a comprehensive business plan, orchestrating the setup of terminal operations teams, and actively contributing to sales efforts.

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT
Summary of Required Skills and Competencies in order to be shortlisted:-

• Higher education in commercial, engineering, or nautical disciplines.
• Experience in the LNG industry or energy terminal operations.
• Specific experience in commercial operations of onshore terminals, including scheduling, gas nominations, gas accounting, and reporting.
• Proficient communication skills in both written and spoken English.
• Proficiency in IT with experience utilising relevant Microsoft Office software.

While not mandatory, possessing in-depth knowledge of the LNG and FSRU industry is advantageous.

• Exhibits a strong sense of responsibility and consistently follows through on commitments.

While the ideal location for this role is Oslo, Norway, our client is open to considering candidates from other locations, provided they are willing to spend a substantial amount of time in Oslo. Additionally, this role involves extensive global travel.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The role responsibilities will include, (but not limited to):-
Key responsibilities:-

• Develop Hoegh LNG’s terminal Operation services offering plan, including commercial and technical operations;
• Be responsible for setting up Höegh LNG’s terminal operations team for the respective terminal opportunities;
• Integrate part of the business development team in new FSRU/FSU and LNG infrastructure project developments and Tenders;
• Develop marketing materials for Clients, participate in sales meeting and to provide solutions and expertise to the business development phase;
• Coordinate activities towards FSRU infrastructure partners and contractors in the Business.

Development & execution phase:-

• Assist in risk, safety and environmental impact assessments of terminal developments;
• Input to capital cost estimation of different terminal service solutions.
