Trade Operations

• Commercial contract drafting and terms negotiations.
• Letter of credit issuance, document presentations, and negotiations.
• Liaise with banks and the internal finance department to execute trade finance for physical shipments and Forex hedges.
• Post shipment settlements.
• Ensure the integrity of management information provided to Finance and Risk for reporting purposes.
• Support an outstanding control environment as well as develop and implement new initiatives.

Requirements:

• Good knowledge of trade finance, UCP600, ISBP, and bulk commodities trading operations would be advantageous.
• Minimum Diploma/Advanced Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 – 3 years of relevant experience in a trade support function, experience in bulk commodities preferred.
• Ability to do multi-task and handle a high volume of transactions.
• Attention to detail and ability to work within a short timeline.
• Ability to prioritise and deploy strategy to handle multiple issues according to the situation.
• Able to work as a part of the team as well as independently.
• Ability to communicate effectively with partners and peers.
• Able to work in a fast-paced work environment.
