Vessel Manager (Chief officer/Chemical tankers)

We are seeking a Vessel Manager to oversee the commercial operations and technical maintenance of various chemical tanker vessels. The incumbent will be entrusted with efficiently managing the complete spectrum of operations for both owner-operated and time-chartered vessels, aiming to optimise profitability while ensuring compliance with all charter party agreements.

Collaboration with the chartering department, clients, external vendors, and onboard personnel will be essential to accomplish these objectives. Additionally, the Vessel Manager will be accountable for monitoring vessel statuses and handling laytime and demurrage matters.

Responsibilities:

• Execute commercial operations and maintenance tasks for chemical tanker vessels.
• Manage end-to-end operations of owner and time-chartered vessels to maximise profits.
• Ensure compliance with charter party requirements.
• Maintain up-to-date vessel status reports.
• Collaborate closely with the chartering department, clients, vendors, and shipboard staff.
• Handle laytime and demurrage-related tasks efficiently.
• Provide on-the-job training to new staff members.

Requirements: 

• Sailing experience up to Chief Officer 
• Minimum 5 years experience dealing with Chemical vessels. 
• Possess strong skills in negotiation, numerical analysis, communication, and managing stakeholders effectively.
