Voyage accountant/controller

We have partnered up with a shipping company expanding their business in Singapore in looking for a Voyage accountant/Controller.

This person is expected to:

• review vessel P&L results
• manages freight and TCO invoices and account receivables
• liaise between Charterers and Owners and the bridge between commercial and accounts team
• optimise cashflow
• handles daily payment transactions and accounting of operating costs
• credit controlling
• providing feedback to relevant departments and stakeholders

this person should have:

• experience and knowledge in the maritime industry especially in the dry bulk and tanker space
• fluent with voyage accounting
• Degree in maritime
• Being familiar with IMOS and SEDNA would be a plus
• able to work independently and at the same time a team player with a mature mindset to work well with internal stakeholders
