Warehouse Supervisor

Direct Search Global is working with a Maritime service provider to fill a role of Warehouse Supervisor in their Singapore warehouse. Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise warehouse operations, overseeing daily activities and ensuring efficient management.
• Plan and oversee the allocation of warehouse space, and material handling equipment on a daily basis.
• Delegate and oversee daily tasks for the warehouse workforce to ensure timely completion.
• Ensure that the Warehouse Operations team fulfills assigned tasks within stipulated timeframes.
• Collaborate closely with the Logistics Officer to coordinate goods receiving and delivery processes.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive warehouse records.
• Ensure timely and accurate updates to the computerized systems.
• Uphold safety standards and oversee warehouse housekeeping.
• Identify and implement strategies for continuous improvement in productivity and safety.
• Coordinate with and assign tasks to drivers for daily deliveries and transportation needs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned on an ad-hoc basis.

Job Requirements:

• Proven experience in warehouse management.
• Prior experience within Maritime industry is mandatory.
• Familiarity with Maritime industry trends and best practices.
