New head at EMS Chartering

Agnieszka Acar has been appointed as managing director of EMS-Fehn-Group’s shipping company EMS Chartering. Acar previously held the position of general manager at EMS Chartering.

Established in 1984, the German company offers tailored shortsea and deepsea solutions for bulk, breakbulk and project cargoes. EMS Chartering is the exclusive broker of EMS-Fehn-Group’s own fleet of general cargo vessels. 

“With her professional experience and her in-depth knowledge of all areas of shipping, she was our first choice for this position,“ said Dominic Sleur, COO of EMS-Fehn-Group.

Starting out with the Informa Group in 2000 in Hong Kong, Sam Chambers became editor of Maritime Asia magazine as well as East Asia Editor for the world’s oldest newspaper, Lloyd’s List.
