COSCO opens warehouse in London

Crystal Logistics, a subsidiary of COSCO Shipping, has opened a flagship warehouse at DP World’s London Gateway Freeport with the facility set to become the Chinese company’s hub for UK distribution.

The 11,000 sq m warehouse is part of the Logistics Park of London Gateway, which occupies an area of nearly 1m sq m on the north bank of the Thames in Essex, 48 km east of central London.

COSCO Shipping has been engaged in containership owning in Britain and in liner agency, warehousing, distribution, customs clearance, and, increasingly, in supply chain management.
