Odfjell Drilling secures more work for semi-submersible

Odfjell Drilling has been awarded a contract by Ithaca Energy (UK) for 1983-built semi-submersible rig Deepsea Bergen.

The contract is for one firm production well on the UK Continental Shelf with commencement scheduled for February 2019. Ithaca also has options available for additional wells with commencement in either 2019 or 2020.

Deepsea Bergen is currently on contract to Equinor until December 2018.
