Solstad seals pair of OSV extensions

Norwegian OSV player Solstad has landed charter extensions for two of its vessels.

Subsea 7 has called its final option for the construction support vessel (CSV) Normand Subsea, which will see the vessel fixed until the end of 2025. The 2009-built unit has been on contract to Subsea 7 since 2009.

In addition, the 2007-built CSV Normand Energy has been extended with its current charterer until the end of March 2026. The ship has been supporting subsea operations in West Africa.

Both vessels are owned by Solstad Maritime, formed after Solstad Offshore refinancing and in which the latter holds a 27,3% stake.
