Borealis takes on another boxship
Christoph Toepfer-led Borealis Finance has announced the acquisition of the 2009-built 4,563 teu containership Debussy for a price of $10.75m.
The vessel, formerly named CPO Jacksonville, was sold by German owner Offen Claus-Peter and has already been delivered to Borealis. MSI values the vessel at 9445576">$8.6m9445576" />, while VesselsValue puts its value at $11.67m.
Last week, Borealis acquired the 2012-built 4,249 teu containership Balthasar Schulte from Germany’s Thomas Schulte.
Borealis Finance currently owns a fleet of 23 vessels, comprised of three bulkers and 20 boxships.
