Singapore: Well-known offshore executive Shesh Venkatraman has been appointed the new chief executive officer of offshore operator Miclyn Express Offshore, effective July 1.
Venkatraman takes over from Diederik de Boer, who is retiring on the same day.
De Boer will continue his role as an executive director of the company until October 1, and then move to a non-executive position.
Venkatraman has been deputy ceo of MEO since September 2014. Prior to joining the company he was CEO of the Jaya Group, managing the sale of the company to Australia’s MMA Offshore, and also served Indian offshore operator Greatship for over seven years.
Venkatraman also joins the board of MEO as an executive director.
