The latest Norwegian company linked to the giant corruption scandal at Brazilian energy giant Petrobras involves a well-known name.
Newspaper Dagens Næringsliv has reported Akastor is now under investigation. Akastor was spun off from Aker Solutions last year. It is run by Kristian Monsen Røkke, son of the billionaire, Kjell Inge Røkke.
Another Norwegian company, Sevan Marine, is also being investigated for its business dealings with Petrobras.
The scandal surrounding Petrobras has spiralled to involve hundreds of companies around the world and billions of dollars.
Other Norwegian firms being questioned include LMG Marin and Subsea 7.
Norwegian offshore-related firms have invested around $20bn in Brazilian ventures.
