New shipbroking company launches in Singapore
Yesterday saw the launch of a new shipbroking house in Singapore. Tanker specialists Sentosa Ship Brokers, named after an island resort off the south coast of Singapore, has been established by four men who quit Braemar-ACM last year. Vadim Mytnik-Gonta, Miles Wright, Rafael Tomayo and Nobuyuki Kamehara are the founders of the new brokerage, which has made plain it wants to expand fast.
“Initially focusing on the clean and dirty tanker markets, Sentosa Ship Brokers provides a full service offering to its clients that will consist of oil majors, traders and ship owners,” the company stated in a release, adding: “The firm plans to quickly expand its service offering into other areas of shipping in the near future.”
