Dutch subsea services provider N-Sea has been awarded a £30m ($39m) contract for subsea inspection, repair and maintenance services in the North Sea.
The three-year contract, with an unnamed oil and gas development and production company, includes options for extensions.
Pre-engineering survey work for the project has been completed and the initial offshore phase commenced in mid June.
Dave Hamill, N-Sea business development manager, commented: “This type of IRM service, inclusive of vessel based, daughter craft and ROV diving, is at the core of our business and the length and scope of this contract demonstrates confidence in our ability to deliver complex and challenging subsea projects.”
