Cosco Shipping Bulk appoints new managing director

Cosco Shipping Bulk, one of the largest bulk shipping companies in the world, has announced the appointment of Gu Jinsong as the new managing director of the company.

Gu will replace Yang Zhijian, who has taken a new role as managing director of Cosco Shipping Lines last week.

Prior to the new appointment, Gu served as the managing director of Cosco Shipping Southeast Asia.

According to VesselsValue data, Cosco Shipping Bulk owns a fleet of 264 bulkers with a total capacity of 33m dwt, and has another 20 newbuildings on order.
