Cosco Shipping sets up Sarajevo office

China’s Cosco Shipping Lines has opened a new office at Sarajevo in Bosnia and Herzegovina to expand its presence in the region.

Cosco Shipping conducts business in Bosnia and Herzegovina through local joint venture Cosco Shipping Dragon Maritime Company.

The company currently uses the Rijeka port in Croatia and plans to expand its services to the Port of Ploce.

“Representative office in Sarajevo brings the direct presence of Cosco Shipping on the Bosnia and Herzegovina market, and gives the support to local parties through direct and efficient communication and maximum efficiency in the work,” said Meliha Mujezinovic, head of Cosco Shipping Dragon Maritime Company.
